Welcome to White Rose Tours, where the heart and soul of Yorkshire come to life! We're a passionate, family-run company founded with a deep love for this remarkable region and a mission to share its rich heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant culture with visitors from near and far. As a new tour operator, we're dedicated to crafting unforgettable experiences that capture the essence of Yorkshire's unique charm, from its historic landmarks to its rolling moors and bustling market towns.

We believe travel should be personal, immersive, and meaningful. That's why our small-group tours, limited to just 16 guests, offer an intimate and tailored experience. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a literature lover, or a nature seeker, our expertly curated journeys ensure you connect deeply with the region's stories and scenery. Our knowledgeable guides, all proud Yorkshire locals, bring each destination to life with fascinating tales, insider knowledge, and a genuine passion for their homeland.

Tours depart every Friday from Clifford's Tower in York and every Saturday from Leeds Train Station, whisking you away in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus to explore Yorkshire's treasures. From the Georgian grandeur of Halifax's Piece Hall to the literary legacy of the Brontë sisters in Haworth, the bohemian vibrancy of Hebden Bridge, and the serene woodlands of Hardcastle Crags, each stop is carefully chosen to showcase the region's diverse appeal. Highlights include guided walks, a scenic canal cruise with afternoon tea, and a cosy pub dinner, all woven together with expert commentary on the area's history, culture, and natural beauty.

Food is at the heart of Yorkshire's identity, and we celebrate this through our culinary offerings. Every tour includes a delicious lunch (or afternoon tea on select routes) and a hearty dinner, crafted with wholesome, locally sourced produce. From traditional Yorkshire puddings to fresh, seasonal dishes, our meals are a true taste of the region, included in the tour price for exceptional value. We partner with local pubs, cafés, and artisans to bring you authentic flavours while supporting the communities we visit.

Sustainability and community are core to our values. We're committed to treading lightly on the environment and championing Yorkshire's local businesses. Our tours are designed to minimise impact while maximising your connection to the region, whether through eco-conscious choices like supporting National Trust sites or collaborating with small, independent operators for experiences like our Rochdale Canal cruise. We also prioritise accessibility, offering options for various mobility needs.
